"The Electron Monster's Lament"
I try so hard.
Yet here I lie.
Letting my plans die.
I always lose hope.
Feeling like I want the sweet embrace of a rope.
I yearn for a blessing from the pope.
I wish to learn how to succeed.
Here I return to Zeus’, empty-handed.
Zeus; stubborn as always.
I follow Zeus’ command.
Yet I feel like I’m always last in the caboose.
I’ve always wanted to cut loose.
Here I lie.
Knotting the tie.
Letting myself die.
