The Unnamed Protagonist

LXXXVI

Bochum, Germany, August 18th, 2008. I had to go to Walmart to buy fertilizer for my crops. My crops were at a time where they should be growing significantly but they aren’t growing as much as I had hoped they would. Adding fertilizer to the soil will help the crops grow significantly, as it provides nutrients to the plants which makes them grow. The fertilizer I wanted was very cheap too, and it was high quality. You don’t expect high quality and cheap to be placed in the same sentence.

I’m at home watching television, waiting for the snow to clear outside. As I was watching television, I watched a black star speak directly to me.

“I love you so much. Why did you kill me?” the black star asked.

I instantly recognized the black star as the evil Megastar. I blinked once and the television was back to normal. I was then afraid if the Megastar had been revived. While paranoid, I ran outside in the snow to cool off.

Outside, I watched as a whole bunch of rabbits swarmed my car and ate it until it was nothing. I tried chasing after the rabbits, but they were too fast for me. Eventually, the rabbits ran off so far into the distance that I couldn’t see them anymore. “Great, my ride is destroyed now” I thought.

I heard a loud belch sound coming from where the rabbits ran off to. I quickly ran over there to investigate the sound. I eventually got to the scene and bore witness to a giant pile of molten metal. The pile of molten metal then started growling at me and slowly moved towards me.

I stuck around the pile of molten metal to keep warm. I then let the pile of molten metal chase me as I walked back to my home, in complete warmth due to how hot the metal was behind me.

Back at home, I closed the door as to not let the pile of molten metal in. Then, I heard knocks on my door.

“What do you want?” I asked the pile of molten metal.

“I want to go places with you! Please!” the pile of molten metal exclaimed.

“Oh, okay. Sorry I didn’t let you talk to me before.” I replied.

“That’s okay. I’m sorry for scaring you.” the pile of molten metal replied.

“Apology accepted, now let’s break into a car so I can go to Walmart.” I replied.

I let the pile of molten metal into my house. The pile of molten metal went directly to my fridge and started eating the food from there.

“Looks like I’ll have to go grocery shopping too!” I exclaimed jokingly.

I then walked outside and broke into the first car I saw. I hotwired the vehicle and the engine started. I then drove away, with the pile of molten metal sitting in the back seat. The snowy weather started clearing up the moment I got out on the road, granted the road was still icy.

As I drove, the vehicle was sliding on the ice. I almost hit several cars because of the sliding, but eventually I got close to the Walmart. Suddenly, a giant bird flew over and picked my vehicle up.

I was now in the air, and I was scared. The pile of molten metal climbed out the window and burned the bird’s talons, resulting in the vehicle being dropped right to the ground.

The vehicle’s windows shattered and my back hurt from the fall. I walked out of the vehicle only to find it totaled. Luckily, I was near the Walmart, and I could just walk there. I almost slipped on the way to the Walmart because of the icy sidewalk.

At Walmart, I went over to the fertilizer section while the pile of molten metal went over to the food section to grab snacks. I grabbed the bag of fertilizer I wanted to, and the molten pile of metal came back over to me with snacks in its arms.

“Grab a shopping cart, silly.” I said to the pile of molten metal.

The pile of molten metal then went over to the front of the store to grab a shopping cart while I went over to the food section to buy food groceries for meal planning.

“There’s no shopping carts” the pile of molten metal said.

“Really? Just look more carefully next time.” I replied.

The pile of molten metal then went back over to the front of the store and found a shopping cart this time.

“I didn’t look hard enough.” the pile of molten metal said.

“Yep, you didn’t.” I replied.

The pile of molten metal and I then went over to the store clerk to pay for the items we grabbed and then we left after that. I now have my fertilizer and can walk back home.
